The great news is that we have a secured a sponsorship deal with Nimbus Motorsport .
We will be using a number of products from the Nimbus range including HYPERCO coil springs,DEI and THERMO TEC thermal tuning products,NIMBUS heat shields and of course TORCO oil products. In addition,TORCO transmission oil is now available from Penn Autos/Andy Frost Race Transmissions.
One thing is for sure, you all know we pride ourselves on using the best products from around the world. This tie up with Nimbus Motorsport will ensure we have the very best equipment to carry on as we left off last season.A huge thanks to Steve Clark for his foresight and investment in one of the premier street legal race teams in Europe.
Almost as an aside to this note i have put another couple of pics of the turbo build up.Things are moving along nicely at Altiss Engineering. Thanks to Nigel Colwell for his continued good work.....

Obviously I'm updating this page regularly..NOT..
1 year on and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge for the Redvictor 2 team.Of course 2005 started with the WSR and victory for the UK team over the USA and Canada. This will remain one of the highlights of my drag race career.I met so many great people from those 2 countries who will remain friends for a very long time.A huge thank you to all the people who were involved in that historic race....
The rest of the season was just a continuous high. The first 3 S/E meeting were missed so the championship was not an issue. We just went out to enjoy the year really...and that we certainly did.
Out of 4 rounds we got to 3 finals,2 of which were wins.Unfortunately we were denied a 3rd victory after a 10p gasket failed on the startline allowing water to leak from the engine.Still a runner up in the S/E championship was a welcome bonus...
Also in this year Redvictor 2 appeared in a 118 118 TV advert on national TV,and from that we were invited to the NEC for the Classic car show by the Vauxhall FD register.  www.vauxhallfdregister.co.uk
At the moment I am well into the twin turbo conversion.Altiss Engineering     has Redvictor 2 in it's workshop and is crafting all the parts as we speak.(I have posted a couple of progress pics for you to see.)Steve from MPS will be here at the end of Jan to wire the Electromotive EFI and the engine should be on the dyno at the end of Feb.Hopefully some the companies I'm talking to at the moment will be on board for the 2006 season, I will let you know as soon as I have confirmation.
Of course we wouldn't be able to race if it wasn't for sponsors(old and new) really helping us out.A big thanks go to these companies and people who have really helped the project along so far.
Jon and Ian at Webster Race Engineering
Knight Racing Engines
Martin Taylor/Holset turbos
Nigel Colwell at Altiss Engineering
Steve at Mechanical power systems in Canada .
Marty Chance at Neal Chance Racing Converters

One event I am doing this year is the "King of Europe" in Belgium.I was really disappointed in 2005 not to be able to make it due to engine woes. It's a given in 2006 that we'll be there challenging for that title....of course the other S/E boys that are going will also be challenging.I'm looking forward to it..
See you all at the track..
In the meantime check out these pictures

06/01/05 - Hello, long time no see PDF Print E-mail

Wow...how long has it been since I updated this page?....Firstly happy new year to all the team supporters and fans.I hope you had a great holiday and you're all looking forward to 2005.
One of the main reasons for no updates is of course the World Street Race.As most of you know this is a race between UK,Canada and the USA for the title of "worlds fastest real street car".Believe me when I say that all of my time is being taken up with this project.First a trip to Orlando and then over to the PRI show in Indianapolis to search for sponsors for the race. Then rebuild and dyno the engine, rebuild the car..not to mention the business. There really hasn't been any time to do anything else.Hopefully the fruits of those labours will be there to see shortly with some announcements on the WSR site... www.worldstreetrace.tk
As for the CCSE 2004 you'll know that we finished 3rd(again).We were only 40 points behind Splinter, but behind never the less. It's a shame that what was being built up as the closest championship to date ended up being a damp squib...but that happens having drag racing in the UK.....
So,what does 2005 hold for the team? No Problem raceway,Belle Rose,Louisiana is first on the list on March 12th and 13th.Unfortunately that date means we won't be back in time for the Thunderball at Santa Pod as it's only 2 weeks after the USA race. This means we won't be contenders in Street Eliminator this season. This will give us chance to do selective S/E meetings, but also give us time to do the meetings we've missed for a couple of seasons. The Main Event and Euro Finals are 2 of those meeting on the list.We haven't been to those since 2002 and I  really feel we ought to be.So it'll be Super Pro for those 2 meets for sure...I have also entered the Vauxhall in the "kings of Europe" ( www.kingsofeurope.net ) event in Belgium on June 25th and 26th.This is an event to find Europe's quickest street legal car.The rules for this are a lot easier than S/E,they allow ET streets and race fuel.If necessary I'll fit some ET streets to the car but I plan on running in S/E trim.
Anyway, that's it for now.I hope I'll see some of you in Louisiana or at one of the 2 tracks in the UK.Maybe I'll see you in Belgium? As always come up and say hello at the track if you're there..................
ANDY.

That's it then,2003 is nearly over and what a good year it was.I am now in possession of a new block, crank, rods, rings, cam etc and I will be getting on with the build over the xmas and new year holiday. The car is at JWRE now and will be back after the new year. One thing that hasn't been touched since the car debuted is the paint.Martin Curbishley will be giving it a tidy up before it gets back in the garage(so I can scratch it again no doubt..)
As you will have probably seen on various websites there is a 0-60mph challenge at York in 2004.Get your entries in if your interested.Just mail Howard Holmes on
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   We have a score to settle from the beginning of the year with a certain Audi and his miserable crew chief.I've tried to contact them but I haven't had a reply yet.Maybe in the new year.....
All that's left is to wish everybody connected with the RedVictor1 racing team, all the CCSE personnel and the street legal drag race people from all over the world that make our sport what it is a great xmas and the best year they've ever had in 2004.
See ya next year.......who knows what might happen!
